Step 01
First, the covering is thoroughly cleaned - all residues are removed. All scratches are repaired with heated covering material.
Step 02
Now the entire covering is ground flat in several steps.
Step 03
The base structure is necessary to prevent friction between the base and the snow. Each type of snow requires an individual structure. This makes your ski fast and easy to turn.
Step 04
The edges are ground between 87 and 89 degrees. Our new Reichmann DTS-U Pro tuning machine ensures precise edges and perfect grip on the piste.
Step 5a
The last step is to apply Gigaglide lubricant. It impregnates the base and improves the gliding properties of your skis/snowboards.
Step 5b
Wax Future is the race-proven waxing method for the highest demands. The wax flows deep into the pores of the base by irradiation with infrared. This results in better base care and longer-lasting gliding properties.

The Bootfitters
Whether you have burning soles, cold feet, pressure points around the ankles, hallux or scaphoid, cramps, circulation problems, blisters, etc. - our bootfitters are problem solvers. With our bootfitting tools, we adapt the shoes to your feet. Foot analysis and fitting are included in the purchase price of your ski, touring or snowboard boots. We are also happy to work on shoes you have not bought from us. Perfectly fitted boots are not only a plus in comfort - perfect power transmission is an essential factor when skiing. Our boot fitters in Alpbach - above all Sebastian - have been shaping boots for more than 35 years with great success.
With boots from our company you have a fit guarantee - i.e. our bootfitters work on your boot until it really fits.
Step 01
Both feet are scanned. This scan shows their footprint - an important decision-making aid for choosing the right shoe model.
Step 02
Analysis of the scan with clarification of possible malpositions and determination of pressure points on the sole of your foot. Decision whether and which insole is necessary.
Step 03
The thermoformable insole is heated to the right temperature for several minutes and then adjusted. By applying pressure to the heated sole, your individual footprint is transferred to the sole.
Step 04
After the sole has cooled down, the side edges are sanded and the sole is perfectly fitted into the shoe.
Step 05
The problem areas on the foot are taped, the inner shoe is heated - and then adapts to the shape of the foot while it cools down again.
Step 06
The shell of the ski or touring boot can be completely or partially deformed and adjusted with heat. Sometimes the shell is also processed and shaped by grinding. Nothing stands in the way of a successful - pain-free day of skiing.
